Howell should have gone for 10 mins! but then again the late head shot on Dorny was not even penalised so balanced out.



Big difference to last year so far! First penalty was not till about the half hr mark, and I think total panalty count for the match was very low.

Massive differnce to the past.! when Leeds broke up the middle in open space, we chased it down, completed the tackle and then got back as a squad to defend, overall defence last night was pretty awesome

On a bad note, was quite embarressed to be a Yorkshireman last night! we are meant to be friendly folk! I was not stood with the rest of the Quins hords, just me and 2 other fellas, young lady with her dad next to us very chatty, and actually knew her rugby. However bloke in front quite agressive throughout, even when i was being complimentary about the Leeds play, apparently I needed to get to specsavers for calling a tackle taking the leeds player in to touch that both me and the TJ spotted!!! In his opinion I knew nothing about the game and why didnt i just bugger off back to the smoke? No real need and I know just one bloke but hey ho

Listened to the match report after the Wires game...Sky man very condescending towards us and said that basically our squad has no depth and we will be buggered as soon as we get a few injuries.



I do hope that we can maintain this winning start and get some consistency this year. The current strength of the u20s squad would hopefully indicate we have more strength in depth this season.



Chuffed for the boys in general though

I hope that the club can build on the enthusiasim created by the win and go all out in terms of marketting Friday's game- we need ticket offers, posters, adverts etc

Great night on the Western Terrace, and the score line flattered Leeds with the 2 scores in the last few minutes - the first of which was grounded a foot short - all the Leeds fans around us couldn't beleive it had been given.



I know Melling is not the fastest but he didn't look to shabby for the second half try last week and he is getting a bit of flack about last night - as far as I can recall 2 of the interceptions were by Randall ane I think Ellis - not him.



Wire Quin thought that Sinfield was being very disrespectful to us with that short drop out at that time of the game - it was a great sight as Clubby plucked it out of the air and sauntered over.

Hey, I have no complaints about anything from last night. I agree the scoreline did flatter us massively. Thats one of the biggest beating weve taken at Headingley in a few years. Your defence was very good and no matter what we threw at you it was handled with ease. I reckon that wont be the only "shock" you pull off this year and good luck for the rest of the season.
