| Quote Mr Sheen="Mr Sheen"The career of Ade Gardner shows that nearly anyone can be a championship-winning winger if they get the ball 8-10 times a match within 3 metres of the line. I watched Robertson for Manly quite a few times in the last few seasons, and his best performances were at full-back covering for Brett Stewart's absences. He hardly ever drops a high kick, no matter what sort of monsters are hurtling towards him.'"
Thought Robertson was one of our better performers yesterday

| Don't take this the wrong way, but we were poor yesterday - and you wee even worse. Sorry.
You have more than the nucleus of a good team. So, to me, the problem lies with the coaching staff.
It didn't look as though fitness is a problem as you were still 'fighting' at the end. However, there were a number of occasions when you were slow to get back once you had lost the ball.
I really do hope that your season turns around - and that the crowds improve. RL, & SL in particular, will lose out big time if there is no club in London.
Friendly crowd as usual.
All the best.
Oh, and just for the record, Eorl had the wrong studs in his boots and slipped just before Kaufusi challenged him. Honest!!!

| I was thinking that Hudds were poor, but that was mainly down to them messing up a lot of centre-field plays and dropping the ball. They were in a different world with their offloading though. Very impressive.
I've always rated Brough and he proved his value again yesterday. Cudjoe showed a lot of stepping skill - too much for our defenders.
Make sure Eorl keeps getting his studs wrong please.

Didn't say his performance was perfect, just one of the better ones. And we should have been a few tries to the good at that point!

| FWIW, I think Broncos main difficulty is what to do in the opposition 20. They have no problem getting into scoring positions, but then there is no organisation or direct sense of purpose to the play. It's almost as if they throw passes & just hope for something to come of it.
If they can sort that out, they can compete with anyone imo.

I don't know about "no problem", there were some feeble sets off our line at times, but otherwise you're spot on. Big "if" about sorting it out. Hopefully Gower can sort them out, and Sarginson has some guile about him if he can be introduced, but otherwise there won't be high hopes within the supporters.
I was a bit underwhelmed by the famously awesome Huddersfield pack yesterday. Chan might have been a miss, but Patrick and Crabtree didn't live up to reputation. Maybe our ruck defence has improved a lot.

I think our pack did enough. We played by far our least enthused game of the season
When our 2 highest paid players return - Fa'alogo and O'Donnell (plus Ferguson) we are a bigger, defensively tougher, outfit with greater explosiveness in attack.

We certainly lack a quality finisher at the moment.

| As in Soccer someone has to create scoring situations. Most try scores get through a defense using either power, guile (sidestep or set moves etc.) or speed. To do this effectively, teams try to get the ball to them on a one-on-one/overlap basis so they need to get the ball passed to them quickly. Robertson, Sargy maybe Colbon, Caro and i suspect Dixon all fit into this category but as anyone can see if they replay the Hull game we fail miserably to move it quick enough and then refuse to pass the ball to these players. Did you see the 2 man overlap on the right wing agaist Hull and the player chose to go on his own??? Basic stuff that even the middle table club players do but we still havn't mastered. Without Centres who can pass your winger is never going to be a top try scorer.

| You lot should keep your head up. I came down yesterday and we was shocking and i feel that you should of won that game. If we was up against a team like hull kr or cas we would have lost and against wire or wigan they would of have had 100 past us. I agree with all you fans some of the decisions may have been bad.
Hope your season sorts out soon and good luck for the rest of the year.
Low on confident does not help. If you lot win next week then your season may turn around but remember first 4 games you have played 3 of the top 4 last season so not an easy ask.

Thanks mate, even though your lot didn't play as well as they can you still had the quality of Brough, Brown and Grix to keep things ticking over - mind you I bet Crabtree hasn't had an afternoon like that for a while!
