When did you become a Quins Fan?

Just to help you out about the 'Early 2000's' was 11 years ago, the guy I took exception too was talking as if Quins still do not have any sort of youth set up.

It's nothing to do with injuries Rob, it just makes sound financial sense for Quins to get a few loan players in for the year as they cannot afford to spend anywhere near the cap.



They cant play 4 or 5 young kids all at the same time, week in week out, nobody could do that.

Seriously, I couldn't make you up - that "guy" you're talking about was me, so I reckon I know what I meant and when I was talking about. That'd probably be why my post that you quoted in the first place said "[uProgress in recent years[/u doesn't delete over a decade's messing about and special exemptions". That was kind of the whole point of the post: Just because Quins have a good set-up NOW doesn't mean people like PP who sat in Griffin Park with me and watched a load of journeyman Kolpaks run around the pitch can start bagging Rovers for playing on the margins of the rules.

We got ripped apart by those on here and amongst the RL community for our "squad selection" during the years that HKRB is refering to. I'm not sure why Hull KR should be immune to similar criticism.

We can mate, it's a fair call, but for my money any longer-standing Quins fans doing it are people in glass houses throwing stones, kinda my point.



Also, interesting to remember how it wasn't Rovers fans on here back in those days having a go at London (weren't in Superdooperleague), it was the same flat earther idiots that call Rovers "HKA" now that you lot are going along with... it's like the school bully has found a new victim and the previous victim joins in having a kick at the new boy. Classy.
