Not sure where you're coming from with that. The article is a decade old and if anything gives encouragement as he was talked into applying for the London job by support from the fans.

Don’t wanna put a downer on it but he won’t come as soon as what we need him.
We need Edwards tomorrow but he’s at least another two/three years away from considering it.
It would be the perfect time for him to come as well and implement some discipline, defence and pride in what still I believe could be a good team.
Still it could be worth a blast of ‘Shaun Edwards barmy army’ at the Celtic game just to show IL how unhappy we are and who we demand.
