I'm pretty sure he will be on alot more money than we can afford for a player of that age. He won't be coming back to league.

I also believe his Dad has been/will be given the head coaches role at Saracens too.

Whilst he does look a talent, you really need to be wary of Rugby Union players who get big wraps! I mean he didnt' score any tries but as it's Union they will praise him to the hilt because he kicked six goals (four of them penalties)!

Indeed. The fawning that goes on at times because someone had a good RU game (i.e. kicked 6 goals to win the game) is nauseating.

Stepthen Myler gets a lot of praise but is in no way a world beater, I'm in no way bagging young Owen but it's hard to translate a kicking performance in Union to a fast attacking game like league.

When I last saw him play he was the most talented youngster knocking about, got easily frustrated though.

From what I've heard when he was a young lad at st pats, he sounded a great talent at league playin 2 years above his age group before moving down to London following his dads move

As I said there are alot of people talking him up from rugby league circles aswell as union, not just because of this. I just put this so people were aware he was starting for sarries.

Farrell was always known 2 be one of the most talented kids knocking around.



As far as I'm aware there was Sam, George Ford & Owen Farrell who were all being spoke about in the same breath as the next big things. In fact I'm sure Farrell was supposed to be the most developed of the lot due to the fact he often joined in T&P session with the Wigan first team.



Just because he's gone 2 union doesn't detract from his level of talent or the rugby back ground his Dad & Grandand have brought him up in.
