I think this could be around the 10,000 mark. we have some very fickle fans and Sunday's result won't have helped at all.



I've just phoned the ticket office and got through straight away without any holding on. A little different to last week.

I already know that I won't be going, as I have a meeting in Stoke-on-Trent that doesnt finish until late, and I have to rely on trains. Sky plus at home will just about save me.

Hopefully, the few that drop off from our support will be countered with HKR's fans, I'd expect them to bring a few thousand.



It won't be a very good attendance either way though.

Our tickets have gone on sale this morning and I'd hope we'd bring around 2500-3000 for such a big game.

HKR have better away support than Leeds but I still think our crowd will only be in the 11000 - 12000 range.

Its a hastily arranged game that, frankly, very few of us expected to be playing in. Many people have other commitments and will have arranged them thinking that Wigan would be having a week off.

Its on the back of a bad defeat.

We have lost 3 of our last 4 home games.



There's five reasons for people not to attend. I can see about 8,000 Wiganers turning up. Probably about 10K in total.

i reckon it would be a great idea to charge loyal fans, whether season ticket holders or not, who want to go to the game half price admission. its an extra game, not accounted for at the start of the season so its either have half a stadium at full price, or a packed house at half price, meaning more people spending their money in and around the ground.



silly if you ask me, i was quite disappointed with the attandance against leeds too. especially when i was sat in the middle of knowhere with more leeds fans around me (west stand) than wiganers when i could have had nice tickets smack bang in the middle of the stand. stoopid e-tickets!!!

Loyal fans would pay £20 if they charged that much. It's not the loyal fans who aren't turning out.

well to get the "maybe's" or the last minute jobs in, i reckon something of this idea could work better.



i won't be going on friday now, so i suppose i can't name call anybody or pretend to be a loyal fan for this game

but only because i'm skint and have just booked my GF tickets as part of my girlfs birthday present, as well as nearly £200 for Frankie Boyle tickets! stung.

Doesnt make you 'unloyal' just because you can't afford to go this week. BTW i'd pay £30 to watch Fridays game but I don't feel any more 'loyal' than someone that can't afford to go.
