Leuluai was one of few Wigan players to have a good game to be honest, it's not that big for a prop to knock over a scrum half surely? His hit on Fielden was class though, Stu should have been dropped long ago for his own good.

Leuluai had an awful game, did nothing.

you lot still calling mathers for all the hard work he has done for the wires?.. get a grip. you got gleeson, we got mathers and what a great deal that was along with £100'000. gleeson was well too over-rated and it turned out for the best for both teams in the end but we have one more thing over wigan.... WE ARE GOING TO WEMBLEY! hahaha!

i liked mathers myself ...thought at times he got a very raw deal from a small section of wigan fans...yes he made mistakes but when the final whistle went on saturday i had a rye smile when i saw him drop to his knees...i thought 'good on ya lad''

I'm happy for Mathers. I've said it many times- the lad never gave anything less then 100% for Wigan but his confidence was shot to bits and we didn't have either a coach good enough to get the best out of him or a set of supporters willing to give him enough patience.



He seems a good lad and after his injuries of the past i'm made up for him that he'll be stepping out at Wembley.

When he was at Leeds he never gave less than 100%. He's that kind of player. I'm glad he's back with a coach who knows how to get the best out of players.

Totally agree with you there pal. I was embarrassed by some of our fans flicking the V's at Mathers when he looked up to the West Stand, totally unneccessary.

Did anyone feel slightly sorry for Briers after watching his interview after the game? Yes he can be a pr!ck at times, but its nice to know their's a different side to the player you see on the field.
