Great backs cant do anything without a great pack. That said he is stuck with Fielden and his wages for now, but when he is gone you could probably get two good forwards for his wages.

I think a lot of you underestimate the scale of the job he had to do when he came in, maybe he did himself.

Good point. Obviously we all know its not going as well as it should be on the pitch but behind the scenes it looks as though we are on the right track after years of serious problems

He is doin the best he can and I think he is doing a great job, he isnt going to play into DWs hands by kicking off and having a public slanging match about the stadium all he can do is bite his tongue and hope for the best, he wouldn't have got so far in buisiness if he let his heart rule his head.



I trust IL completley to get us back to where we belong, he has shown he is willing to splash the cash if needs be.

I voted for not sorting the pack out v the backs.



I think this can fairly be laid at his door because he was quoted as saying early on we had enough props at the club so would not be recruiting any and he wanted a speedy winger. That and simply signing Roberts a year early and also adding Phelps and Smith was "fixing" the part of the team that needed least fixing IMO and I think IL was the major player here.



However I'd also like to vote for extending Nobles contract as well because he extended the contract of a coach who can't coach the sort of side he has got here at Wigan i.e. one with a poor pack.

I have no idea why the stadium fiacsco, ignoring the weakness in the pack, or signing gleeson could be attributed to IL as mistakes.
