Today hasn't changed my mind one bit, I still fancy us to win the GF. Wire we're on the ball and we gave them too many soft tries. I don't even feel gutted that we lost, I half expected it backing-up from the Cup Final.

If our forwards play as poorly as they did today, no we won't. Wires were very good and forced us into living of scraps for ball possession and therefore no field position. I thought that once again Cooper was their unsung hero, good prospect.

Thaw not the noises coming out the Wigan camp all week, you had the normal week to prepare as Wigan was back in training Monday.



You could say Warrington could have been rusty as they ain't played and Wigan went in battle hardened.

I think you was beat by the better team on the day and IMO the best team in super league.

Not from handling errors, usually they come from a misread by the defence, whereas Wigan were just dropping the ball everywhere and generally making a mess of everything.

Wire were superb today. Wigan on the other hand were so below par it was comical. Wire were IMO the more hungry side today, no doubt our victory in the QF had a lot to do with that. Hopefully their victory over us today will have a similar effect on the Wigan players for next time we meet.

How can you say outclassed. That would indicate 2 teams playing to their best ability and one dominating the other. Yes Wolves played really well BUT Wigan virtually beat themselves. The competion rate from Wigan was virtually non existant due to poor handling errors 2 dropped balls from H alone with no pressure. Discipline was poor, the whole team looked tired. The game last week must have drained the players both physically and emotionally. Not taking anything away from Warrington but come back and talk about class when Wigan are playing on top of their game

So it was Wigan poor that cost you the game, not the fact Warrington was better in every department?



You don't think wolves defence was the reason you dropped the ball at all?

I think Wire were fantastic and Wigan were dreadful. The errors were down to Wigan though. The players have proven time and time again that they can keep mistakes to a minimum which is why an error strewn display was so surprising.

This is why I'm not bothered about the result. We were a million miles away from our best. If we'd have been on form today and still got pumped I'd be worried.

if anything this has made me feel more confident about the play-offs, we have a special group of players and we know we can turn it on and beat wire when we want too. Today was our worst performance of the season and its good to get it out of the way now than in sudden death.
