Agreed, fantastic effort that is, show how much he wants success.
Re Clarkson, we rave about him because he's come from nowhere this year to almost securing his spot in the 17 when fit. Good meters, willing to play out of position when requested (on the wing in 2 matches iirc) But ATEOD he's a loose and until Sinfield makes way, he'll have to ply his trade in the second row where he has taken his chance fantastically. Averaging 25-30 tackles a match is superb, for anyone, especially a kid who has told the likes of Ian Kirke to shift aside. |

Fair play maybe I was a little harsh. Although I'm guessing by the time Sinfield retires his spot will be taken by Ward. Now that kid does look good. |

I remember Ian Roberts producing a fantastic tackle figure under Graham Lowe (86/7?), stats had only just started to be gathered and his figure in one particular game was incredible.

An amazing effort by Farrell especially when you consider how good he is going forward as well. We need to get him signed up long term.
Oh and young player of the year should be Tom Briscoe imo. Only 20 and the best English winger in the league. I've loved watching him play this year, only reason to watch Hull.
