Didn't feel sorry for Briers but I was absolutely made up for him expelled some deamons re missing out with Saints for a final appearence and got to play on his brothers birthday you could just see what it meant to him.
As I wire fan I was more pleased for Briers than anyone on Saturday, finally he gets to play on a big stage that he probably deserves to have played on more than once.

I was sat low down in the West Stand and some of the abuse handed out to Mathers was embarrasing.
Fair do's trying to put an opposition player off his game but when some are should every swear word under the sun at him i think it went too far.

And me. I'm pleased for the guy - he's had a pretty torrid time of it and fair play to him, his move to Warrington has really paid off. The vitriol displayed by sections of our own support on Saturday was truly embarrassing.
That said, I'll probably still be a Giant for the day on the 29th...  |

I have been to a few where the likes of Sean long has been on the panel. Now I can't stand Sean, a bit like Briers, he has a lot of haters, but after speaking to him, and hearing him speak publicly at these events, you realise what nice blokes they actually are.
It becomes confusing because after the events, you actually find yourself liking them during subsequent games! |
