Good performance. We looked very strong in defence and good in attack from deep although we took some sloppy options close to the line.



Russell was mom and was brilliant but I'd have given it to Ryan King or Dom Crosby who were both superb. Looking at today I'd put Sam Powell ahead of Mellor in the pecking order to take Deacons place. He looks a good alround talent in defence and attack.

Cracking game - I agree, I'd have given King the MoM, he was ripping them apart almost every time he got the ball. Powell had a great game, too



Bobbie Goulding is an irritating little sh!1 though...can't think who he gets it from...

Powell is more of a Deacon type player though. In the last game I thought Mellor played much better than Powell so there doesn't seem to be much between them at the moment, which is fantastic because they both look like very promising players.

I was probably the only person who attended the under 20's match not to attend the semi. Chose the right match to attend in the end though.





Quite a few on show who should be getting first team action next year.

Pity big fair minded holier than thuo saints did'nt let them parade the cup round the ground before the match, at least it would have been some sort of entertainment.



P.S. congratulations on the half-time wake, I almost felt I was back at the DW.
