Never seen someone take so long to get up off the man... lucky he wasn't sin binned.

I must say Wigan are very indisciplined tonight they have been very lucky not to have had someone in the sinbin. Wigan though have taken their tries very well - it is just the officials who are at fault.

Been poor for both teams, too quick to blow for ptb penalties instead of letting the game flow.

Give away a million penalties as per

A mixed half really, with luck making up too large a proportion of that mix for my liking. We were gifted a couple of soft tries and had a lucky bounce or two, without which we'd probably be level pegging. Not too good, really. I wonder how much cup fatigue we are experiencing from our massive clash with Wire?

I don't think the officials have been bad. The tries that were awarded were all the correct decisions. A few forward passes missed (as usual) but generally the officials haven't been too bad.



Discipline is a bit of a problem, but I think those consecutive penalties towards the end were just deliberate to try to eat up the clock before half time. It's obviously backfired.

A proffesional foul though is an immediate sinbinning which Wigan got away with curtosy (sp) of the ref.
