| If he were a couple of years younger peacock by a mile....Wish we'd have bought him rather than fielden when they were both probably on a par in 2006....weda already won a cup by now IMO if we had.
But as youd only get a couple of years out of peacock, I would say either Eastmond or Dobson.
If we could bring Dobo back to wigan what an awesome partnership Dobo and Sam would make, best in the league IMO.

The perfect HB combo!
Just think when Hull KR signed him we got Tim Smith instead???
If ever there was a realistic transfer fee to be paid then Dobbo should and would be it.

Exactly....he would give us everything sam lacks and could help build sams part of that game (namely teamwork and kicking skills)
Tomkins is an awesome player but his kicking is his downfall, anyone could see that at KR with his kicks constantly finding Pryce. Dobo could take the pressure of this side of the game with his near perfect organisational and kicking skills while Tomkins could be left to terrorise the opposition defence.
If ever there was a HB partnership made in heaven it would be that one.

| For me it would be;
Buderus - McIlorum and Riddell are playing brilliantly at the moment but Buderus is a very skillful player and I'd rather see him alternating with McIlorum than Riddell
Luauki looks promising.
Morley - a beast with plenty of experience.
Peacock - same as Morley. He's passionate and exactly the kind of player who would fit in with the new regime.
Briscoe and Dobson.

You'd want [uall[/u of these, including three front rowers whose joint ages push them past 90?
No disrespect, but I'd opt to keep the players who so far have us at the top of the league. And Briscoe's chance has been and gone. We've got Roberts for the next three years. After him, there's a choice at full back of Charnley, Marsh or Vievers.

| Eastmond. He's a brilliant player and his partnership with Tomkins would be deadly.

| At the moment I would probably say Morley simply because our pack would then be superb. Maybe Fitzgibbon in place of Bailey?

I wouldn't sign all these players at once, but these are the players out there that I think would improve our team and realistically I'd look to bring in one or two because I'm happy with our players this year.
I'd still prefer to see Briscoe in at full back and Roberts on the wing. I really admire Briscoe's defensive qualities and the way he puts his body on the line week in week out, very reminiscent of Radlinski.
On a side note, when I was thinking about this it made me realise there aren't many top hookers around at the moment. Cunningham is phenomenal but he's at the end of his career.

Yeah, but I prefer Pat & Amos to be on the wings, and Brett would be an improvement on Phelps.
