Give it to Fielden it might be just the lift he needs

The captain needs to be in the starting line up though really.

As I have said before, Bailey has been the de facto captain for the last 2 games.





Shame to lose Lockers though, he plays much better when he isn't the captain.

Phil Bailey. I'd have Fielden captaining the reserves when O'Carroll returns. Is there any news on him? He seems to have been out forever.

Had to have another operation. Out for a few more weeks I think.

Bailey and Fielden aren't usually first grade anyway, and shouldn't be in the team half the time, most of us would like it if they left at the end of the year, why should they be captain for any reason other than age?

I dont think Fielden is up to doing anything these days tbh.

Bailey won't count as non-federation trained anyway I think so I'd re-sign him for next season.

No he won't but he will count as a quota player.



Having said that I'm still undecided on whether to retain him - a lot would depend on where we are with our recruitment and his form over the next few weeks.
