So when you bought your season ticket at the beginning of the season you didnt know that games could be switched?

I did, but when things are announced I book other things. Like a week in France to watch wigan but will miss the HKR game due to it being moved. I thought I couldnt lose with Hudds as its advertised everywhere. Already with 2 matches missed I would be better off paying on the day than a season ticket. Any more questions?

Can they say no, due to the fact its already marketed at that date? Could they not move the Wire, Saints game?

They cant say no until after a certain cut off date. Sky obviously want the best games but have to keep it fairly even across all teams.

But the club could have requested that they remain on the Friday due to selling so many tickets and move the other game. After all we have launched a massive marketing campaign and sold over 2000 tickets.

The club can request what they want but sky can switch if they want because we have a contract with them. TV money & coverage rule super league just like they rule the premier league.

What a load of rubbish !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasn't a big fan of the Fri night games at first & as a shift worker (i.e a WORKING man) it was a problem to get to see our mighty team. However, the "regular" Fri night games finally suited as I started working Saturday's instead & as a "season ticket holder" I always got to support our great team & we all know Sky like to dictate the fixtures but us playing on Fri to accommodate Sky's TV schedule was a blessing in disguise. The club must have spent a small fortune PROMOTING the game on the Fri so the majority of us were 100% convinced this game was taking place as advertised & PROMOTED. My brother WAS coming up from London by train on the Friday and returning Sat morning but not now

I don't think Wigan are 100% blame free here as I bet Huddersfield haven't sold many tickets for a Fri night away game (as per usual!) so Wigan are hoping that the change to the Sat eve will promote more away fans to travel & give a little boost to some stay away home fans?? As a season ticket holder (x4) they've already got my money though

Normally Sky would have left our game on Friday and have put Wire v Saints on the Saturday. Updating my [url=http://www.rugbyleagueontv.co.uk=#FF0000tv page[/url I can tell you that it is rare that a match gets moved from a Friday, unless the two games they want to show are both originally down for Friday. It's those that continue to play on Sunday's that are buggered about more.



But the reason they've done it the other way round for this is that Sky want Wire v Saints on Sky 3D as well and they can only accommodate that on the Friday (I think they have Live Speedway from Cardiff on the Saturday). There was no way they could shift the speedway so it's one of those things. It's could just be a one off problem but if they increase Sky 3D coverage it could prove a regular problem because they only have 1 3D channel compared to 4 Sky Sports Channels. Only time will tell.
