Was Tomkins 'breaking the spirit' when he milked those penalties, or does that cheating not count?

You inferred that Leeds broke the salary cap. When?
Please show some evidence to support your bilious outpourings.

| McGuire injured himself taking Csarmont out off the ball which saved a possible try because Richards would have passed inside to Carmont for a near certain try to win the game. So McGuire commited a professional foul IMO. I was in the East stand near the incident and there was nothing after the ball as McClennen intimated. He should have watched the replay before insinuating foul play.

No more than Sinfield constantly mouthing off to the ref. He should have been marched back 10 metres on numerous occassions tonight. Halibut just isn't a strong enough ref to put him in his place.

| I didn't see any foul play on McGuire after he pulled back Carmont, I saw Fatty-R-Buckles run up and stand over McGuire giving him jip, but they paused the footage at that point so I didn't see whether Riddell actually did anything.

| Just seen the interview with McLennan on the sky website and i've not a clue what he's on about. He's trying to make out that McGuire was injured when Riddell came over to him but it was clear his leg buckled as he took out George Carmont. It seems like he may have paid a heavy price for that incident which I wouldn't wish on anyone. He did what anybody would do in that situation.

Same here, I was level with the incident - McGuire crocked himself when pulling Carmont and tripping on him. Piggy gave him a right mouthful, nothing more. McLennan has made a right fool of himself with his insinuations and if he had any balls he'd issue an apology to the Wigan squad. But seeing as he seems to coach dirty play and thuggery, I won't hold my breath.
I don't wish him any serious injury, but I certainly have no sympathy for him and for the first time in my life, I didn't clap an injured player from the field.
