Robinson and Connelly had the spell in RU in the off season so Robinson had at least shown the impact he could have in RU. |

I don't think he has ever been anything like Robinson in either style or ability. A couple of years ago his style and strength reminded me a little of (and I'm almost embarrassed to say this now) The Black Pearl himself. But that was then and he has, quite literally, fallen to bits now. |

To be fair to him, he's always given Sam Tomkins credit.
The ones who must feel most let down by Eastmond are the Saints fans themselves. He was an undisputed talent, but he had years of professional coaching at Saints and full exposure to what, at the time, was the most professional club culture in the UK. Now that they could really do with him coming through for them, he's off to another sport and displaying attitude en route. That's a pretty poor return for all their trust. |

Tomkins talent wise cant really be faulted, wonder if the plan is to move him back to 6 at somepoint? According to what I've read Widdop is ripping it up at 6 in the NRL so would be interesting to see who got the nod for england |
