Good luck to Wane,served his apprentrsgip and deserves his chance but so did Agar who worked under Kear and Sharp( we Won the cup with Kear and went to a GF with Sharp) and we have had 4 yrs of dross with him in charge and took the club backwards at a alarmingg rate...2 bottom 3 finishes,6th and 8th in his tenure as well has having 3 assistants as well......NO2's dont always make great coaches.

True but almost every coach was a number 2 at some point.

As a outsider looking in,i think you have squad trouble as well...You never replaced Gleeson,Tomkins isnt a centre and looks to be off....Charnley is still unproven and needs a good centre with him.Deacon too old and Leuluai best position is hooker imo so that leves you needing a 6 0r 7 to go with Finch and another Hooker as i dont rate Mcliorum...you struggle when he is on.Your pack looks ok but Hock out for the 1st 3 weeks?

Mate the last 3 weeks didnt come at all twice with Agar ane we didnt get into week 2 the other 2 times....Compare that to Kear and sharpe and we did pretty well in the play-offs and even got to GF in 2006

I hope Wane does a god job. I don't think you should give him a break just because of who he is - but he deserves a bit of patience given the likely changes in your squad from this year to next. If you lose Tomkins and Hoffman and Deaccon, you've lost a strike player and two very experienced pros. Not easy to replace at all - not impossible but it'll take time.

I dont have a problem with Harris, I would have prefered Lammie but i think Harris did a decent job under difficult conditions at Crusaders. Ithink Wane will do a good job but all we can do is give them both a chance and see what happens.
