Good for you.... Have you got a season ticket in there then??

there are no season tickets for the west stand this year haven't done it for 2 seasons now as they don't like home fans mixing with hull fans or saints & leeds(due to numbers attending/the behaviour of hull. note this does not get enforced when the pie come to town as they very rarely sell the west out!), but i can swap my south stand ticket from the season ticket book for a west stand ticket which i do every other week, why?





i stand in the west with my son, i enjoy the banter with visiting fans & have always enjoyed watching from behind the sticks (fletcher st syndrome!)

They locked Wigan fans out of the West Terrace when we went in 2008 (the night Mathers got sent off). I know at least two people who couldn't get in.

So if the Stand holds say 3k (Note, I don't know how many it does hold BTW) and Wigan have been given an allocation of say 1800 in there yet Wire fans are allowed to buy the remaining tickets now, then how the Hell can we sell out that whole West Stand when the Wire fans can buy those 1200 in advance as well?

As Nogga says, give us the 3000 and if not sold 2/3 days prior to the game (Or whatever) then send em back.

And you lot beat 1/2 a Harlequins team at the weekend and you seem to be getting very cocky!

I think it's you that needs to get a bit more realism!

If Wire can sell 11,400 for this game, with Wigan snapping up the other 1800 then why shouldn't they? You will have been given around 14% of the available tickets, and that is fair.



If your tickets go really quickly then I agree that more should be forthcoming, providing there is availibility, but there is no reason why Wigan fans should get priority over the home fans.

So that it stops p1llocks coming on here (Not you BTW) stating that we have never sold out, were "Probably" not going to sell out & being told we need to be more realistic blah blah with a cocky attitude?



I don't give 2 x hoots to be honest with you, just cant believe that someone comes on stating that we can't/won't etc sell out the West Stand when it's plainly obvious that we can't because there on sale to the Wire Fans as well at the same time!

I agree that even if we did get the 3k then maybe Wigan wouldn't sell them all out, but until they do it's a non-argument as Wire fans get the chance to buy them before they go on genereal sale at Wigan.



It's a bit like me saying 1 x person from Wigan has a ticket in the South Stand at Wire so you couldn't sell out your Home allocation!

Not sure why you would get wound up with somebody who was clearly stirring. I've been to a few games over the past few years at the HJ where you have filled the away end. Last year was poor, but I suspect (and hope) that will have been a one off, and the other stands weren't full at that game either.

I wouldn't say a Rant, just a full explanation of why I replied?

Apologies if it comes across that way but I can assure you that it doesn't bother me in the least what SLimply the Beast thinks, my only interest was to point out to others the idiotic nature of his statement and also Highlight his unearned cockiness to everyone.

Now as long as most Wigan fans can see what he's trying to do (And Failing I Believe) then that will do for me.

And even if we do only take 1500-2000 then it will be 4 x times what Wire used to bring to our place 5/6 years ago!

Not really much point in having a moan about people talking nonsense and having digs when you do exactly the same.



5 or 6 years ago was the period when we were bringing some large crowds to the JJB/DW. Certainly more than 500.
