| Quote south shore warrior="south shore warrior"I work nights and have 5 hours sleep in the day to make it to games and I start at 11pm every night I attend every game that I can do and I also live in Blackpool so its not like I am in chorley, pem, wigan etc so in my book I am a loyal supporter'"
Blackpool to Wigan?
That must take you a full 45 mins in a car?????
No offence but it's hardly like driving route 66 across the USA each week is it?

| I'll add to this......
When I attend games (if im not at work) it costs me £20-30 in petrol, £25 for tickets, £20 - 30 for food and water, programme, Golden Gamble tickets along with a drive from The Lake District. All in all about £80 per game for me and my son
if a game is on a knife edge then admittedly I stay to the end - If I was there on Friday then I would definatley left early to get a flyer in the traffic. We sat in traffic trying to get out of the carparks for over an hour for the WCC so that is why I leave early.
Still I guess im not a proper supporter
Oh and yes I was at Leeds for the playoffs and that cost me even more.

Yes in the middle of the night, but it takes slightly longer on a match day, and takes longer to get to the ground too..... We don't all live in Wigan. No offence.

| Couple of observations on this point:
1) it's a right pain if you want to watch the game to the end spending the last 15 minutes up and down out of your seat as people shuffle past on their way out; and
2) Why do people who want to "get away quickly" after the game park on the offcial car parks? You have to be a muppet to think "quick exit" and "official stadium car park" ever belong together.

Exactly, thats why big games between good teams get bigger attendances and also derby matches.

| Just watching Huddersfield Town vs Notts County on Sky Sports 1.
The stand we were in last week is almost empty of any away fans, just goes to show what great support we lend to opposition clubs in SL even on a Friday night.

Good on them!
I was embarassed to see people leave on the hour mark in the West stand on Friday, many of them fellow season ticket holders although looking on the bright side i didnt have to listen to any of the crap they spout about the team for the remaining 20 minutes of the match.

My grandad always told me to mix old sump oil with creosote to make 5 litres go all round the garden fence without having to buy another gallon bottle.
He also told me that rhubarb gives you piles, that planting egg shells in your garden will keep the moles away and that if you put a new pair of shoes on the table you will have bad luck.
Just like your advice its all bóllocks.
No offence.
