Brief thoughts.. we were a little off the pace but showed a hell of a lot of bottle to win that. Our right side is still weak on communication, Deacon is definitely the liability there and Pat needs to get onto some speedwork. Well done boys!

Glad that one is over. A shaky win, I'd say. Not sure how that session will bode for the Saints semi though, seemed like there might well be some battle wounds being nursed tonight.



Credit to FC though, played well tonight by and large, despite some silly errors that let us in in the first half. Ey, I wonder if they fancy letting Joel play in their second row in return for Manu playing in our centre?

I actually didnt think it was a bad option really. We'd had no possession in that 2nd half, there was 5 minutes left and we had battered bodies allover the field. Would have just taken the sting out and run the clock down a bit.

Just got out of jail..phew..Hock shouldn't be playing in the big SL games for at least another month, just is nowhere near that level yet..Joel is really struggling at centre..thank the lord for his brother!!

Manu had a good game, and Briscoe is rapid.... I'll settle for a 16-30 win everytime....

He attacked deacon all night, very effectively. He couldnt transistion to centre for me though

All games are "big""... We have to play him we could need him in the the playoffs, not many games left, should we start him then?

He isn't at the level yet to play in big games and it nearly cost us last week against the Wire. That's why MM took him off and put Hansen back on to shore up the defence, and it showed again tonight. I'd be looking at next season for him TBH. Hope he misses out next week.

Deacon was let down by Farrell and Joel tonight in defence. I thought Faz had a shocker and I'm just hoping his confidence hasn't take a knock from being left out recently.



Cross looks an ok fill in and Hock is off the pace but it'll come.



Prescott and Hansen in for Cross and Hock next week with Faz being lucky to hang onto a bench spot IMO.
