Your only argument with me seems to be that I called Solomona over weight and overseas, which he is... so i dont see your problem? Whats the point in comparing him to Lima anyway? They are two different positions, Lima is a prop and props aren known to be abit more on the heavy side (which if you ask any regular Wigan fan, Lima isnt, and what little weight he does have for a prop, is just muscle) Solomona is more like the feka/barry ward over weight as in just plain fat. And I still stand by the matter that he wouldnt last a minute in the current Wigan side with this regime.

You're right Solomana is rubbish, it's awful that he has the hands of a stand off, and throws probably the best bullet pass i've ever seen and that he draws in 4 men then somehow manages to offload the ball. We need to get on to the PFU Chairman and tell him to have a word with Solo, take a drive make 10 yards fall to the floor and play the ball.

So I have finally managed to rewatch the incident, Sam has his left arm locked by Westwood and is pushing away with his right arm. Westwood lets go of the ball to throw a punch (closed fist) which connects. The next two seem to miss, however Blyth runs in with the forearm and as Westwood regains his feet he then tried to get another one in but manages to hit the back of Hodgson.



Not withstanding the initial run from Westwood ended up with his forearm in Marsh's face.



The arm lock which prevents Sam from getting up can clearly be seen in the replay @ 43:00 on the clock.

Rogues, I'll reply before this thread gets locked because of all the stupidity from both sides of the fence. The Westwood/Tomkins incident was 'nowt nor something,' and has only been highlighted because of the two personalities involved. I think the penalty went the right way because Tomkins was delaying the PTB, but Westwood was lucky it didn't get reversed. As regards the Micky Higham thing, I think he was lucky to escape a citing, but I don't like this 'doing a Wilkin' thing. Did you watch the game on Saturday? I can't remember who it was now, but at one stage, whilst the ball was in play, Ganson asked a HKR player if he wanted to make a complaint. When the player answered in the negative Ganson simply played on.

again, HOW? by stating that you would have solomona, how can you say he would not add to your set of forwards? the man is a beast, 4 players on him and he still gets a good offload away. to say that you wouldn't have him just smacks of bitterness to me, so your right, let's just leave it. I know hands down i would take sol over lima, any day of the week.

The Wilkin thing was tongue in cheek, it wasn't serious. I don't like it either. We have a referee and a video review panel for that.
