Just having got it off their chest about Wigan will suffice, and will more than make up for the fact that they [size=150won't be getting a shag tonight [/size- AGAIN.'"

| Quote thepriestman85="thepriestman85"How did Pryce go missing? He was hardly used and the ball went almost 90% of the time down Ainscough’s side! I thought with the little ball he had he did pretty well, especially the one good run which he injured his hip he also bounced a few players off on a few kick returns. He put in a few big hits in defence and generally had his opposite winger in his back pocket on defensive kick throughs. To say he went missing is very unfair on him. you are talking rubbish to say he had ratchford in is pocket is aload of garbage the lad (pryce)is and always will be an awful rugby player dropped at least half dozen balls when ball in hand cant tackle and cant take a high ball the bloke is about 4 stone heavier than ratchford and turner(proably toghether) and runs like a tart should be steam rolling over the opposition like vanikolo used to do not good enough roberts should be in this from a salford fan who was v imppressed with your halfs last night and richards at fullback well played and good luck for rest of season

That, coupled with one poor would be catch was why Roberts was dropped.
If we are going to drop somebody if they're not involved, we'll never have the same right winger for two consecutive games.
Had to be elsewhere last night but have had calls from two different people who went and both said that we conceded far too many linebreaks again tonight and that most other teams would have punished us severely.
True?

True?
Yes. Although it was a comfortable win, without us hitting top form, they got behind us with a bit too much ease at times. Their second try, Smith was just like a turnstile and it was all too easy for them. He's definitely being targeted now. Myler did look useful for them. Thought we looked really dangerous down our left side. Pat is looking more at home at fullback, Riddells passing an awareness of what's around him is excellent and Coley had his best Wigan game. No coincidence for me though that he was running wider instead of straight down the middle and had lots of success because of it. Why we don't use this ploy a little more I don't know.'"

| I agree about us defending the line breaks - we seem clueless when we have to scramble back . tim Smith left a gap the size of a bus for the second try

| Comfortable win without really hitting any sort of top form. Defence is still a bit of a concern but taking Smith out should solve that as he was the source of most of there linebreaks apart from when Myler managed to squeeze through a gap
Pat was great, positioned himself very well and made great yards. I was pretty suprised to see it was him flying doiwn the right wing to be honest Pryce still looked slow and unfit to me, didn't do a lot and what he did wasn't anything special at all, he's going to need to make some serious improvement if he wants a contract for next season. Bailey was solid as usual as was Carmont (looked like he was carrying a bit of an injury and got some treatment) but he had one of his best games of the season for us. Ainscough was busy as ever and even managed to take on himself when going for his contract Sam was very good and grew in confidence as the game went on, his first try was great to watch. Tommy was decent at 7 but miles better when he went to 9 and his broken play running was (as usual) fantastic.
Prescott had a good run out and hopefully now he can leave all injuries behind him and get some decent form together like we know he is capable of. Riddell controlled things really well and had his second best game in wigan colours. Coley had his best game in a Wigan shirt, don't know whether he will keep it up though. Hansen was his usual self getting through a lot of work without doing anything spectacular. Hock was very strong as always and I hope his injury isn't serious. Lockers played really well IMO and had one of best games of the season and has been one of our most consistent performers this season
Feka was his usual monster like self. Fielden got through a lot of work and improved on last week but still not good enough. Smith was like a turnstile and didn't do anything in attack, should be back in the reserves next week. Joel was very good and linked up with Sam excellently in the second half

| Quote thepriestman85="thepriestman85"Pat also started to make more yards on the kick returns and almost seemed to have that Radlinski ability of knowing where their kicks were going to drop. One negative point was he seemed not to back himself when running down the wing for the last try. Yes we scored via Tommy from Pat’s break but I’d still like to see someone like Pat put his head down and go for the corner.'"
I was right on that touchline and Pat was about to be bundled into touch, that's why he didn't back himself. His offload to Tommy was perfect though and we got the try. He made the right decision.

He never came inside to look for work, he's a big lad and should be helping out taking the ball up, like Richards did many times. When the ball came to his wing he was stooped being injured. He dropped a sitter in the first half as well. Ainscough has stamped some authority on the game, and I agree he should have scored when one on one with the full back, and with more long distance pace would be even more dangerous. Price needs to get himself involved, get noticed etc. He should be impressive against a team we score 30 odd points against. He wasn't.
Yep his defence was good, but I want a winger to be an attacking option, he was unlucky with the ball he tapped back from a high kick to be adjudged a knock on.
He should be taking the ball up every other set or so, if he can't cos he's hurt he shouldn't be playing. It's nearly 3 months now since he debuted v wire, he should be back in the swing of things etc. I hope he proves me wrong,

Where were you stood mate? I was bang online with Richards when he was running down the touch line towards the Wigan fans. I thought he was gonna get bundled into touch cause he was slowing down looking for the off load? Guess it's just one interpretation of the same even.
In response to Everton1- Ratchford couldn’t move in the first half without Pryce telling him 2. In one tackle he almost cut him in half and he also I thought cleared up a few grubbers on his side.
I’m not saying he had the greatest game but what he did with the ball when he got it was just as if not better than what Roberts has done with it.
We defiantly need to send the ball more down his side tho almost all the play in the first half almost seemed to be going to Ainscough for breaks. Think that had a lot to do with both Coley, Riddell and Carmont breaking thorough the defence a lot, lot easier down that flank.
