I thought the pitch looked a mess yesterday around where the goals are in football.

This is just getting annoying now.

What, so the Premier League football clubs willl pass a motion preventing Wigan RL playing at the stadium on which they have a legally binding 50-year contract?



I'd like to see them try to make that one stick in court.

We won't be kicked out of any stadium, simple as.



If some kind of rule stupid rule did come in, I honestly believe Whelan would sacrifice Latics' premiership status for our tenancy.

Even more reason for them to get relegated.

I wouldn't mind about the state of the pitch so much if Latics were actually any good.

They can pass all the parochial little rules that they want.



Until/unless they make Wigan (and most likely Hull) councils agree to change the local rulings that state that our stadium HAS to be used for both football and Rugby, and each team has a lease that reflects this, they're just willy-waving and pïssing in the wind TBH.



The only parts of our pitch that are getting worn are the goal-mouths and centre-circle.



Funny that rugby doesn't specifically take place in just those areas isn't it?

If the Premier League want to enforce a rule (that at present doesn't exist) then they will have to stump up a lot of money to build a new stadium for Latics.

with all that crap on it we should have the best pitch in the league!

What aboiut clubs like Wolves? No rugby is played on their pitch and it's still sh*te.

Non starter. Clubs have leases. Councils only grant licences for the stadiums for dual use.



Its a non story anyway, Hull are gone this year, and if Wigan cling on this season, they will be gone next.
