When Hull completed the signing of Ellis we was told by a few Wigan fans they didn't need him and that Lauaki was doing 'really well' now he was 'coached by a good coach'. Seems to be the same old loose canon to me. Cost you 4 points and he's lucky not to have been sent off.

In fairness this is the first game I've watched him play for Wigan but the occasson gets to him and he loses it completely - he was always a complete loon in the derbies.

We didn't lose that because of 5 mins of madness from Lauaki. Defensive mis-reads out wide again and a lack of potency from centre is a big issue for me in this Wane side.

I hope he gets banned. Disgraceful behaviour.

I don't think he knows he's doing it, which is more worrying than if he was being deliberately dirty. If it's deliberate, it can be controlled. If it's a loss of composure in a crucial game, it's a liability. SW will have his work cut out getting him to control that.

I was really surprised when Wigan signed him. Always seemed a liability in important games for Hull and that is the 1st time i have seen him play for Wigan and it looks like nothing has changed.

SW needs to get a grip of him. Fair enough he got caught up in the heat of the moment but silly penalties that cost us the game. I like to see the commitment and pride in the wigan shirt, but controlled. Anyway we will still become champions

Can't just blame Eric, there were lots of other more important factors that led to that loss, Pat's injury and Josh's missed conversions, Tommy's interception, daft penalties from lots of others, Finch having having a rare off day...can point the fingers to a lot of things without singling out Lauaki.
