he is shocking every time i take the last quid of him and he sits out i hope he tops up to which he does another £10



All he does is if he limps in i raise he folds, calls then checks on flop i bet he folds if he calls i keep out, when he raises pre flop if i call him and he checks flop i bet he folds



I love finding players like this i started with £26 and got now £79

Reeling from a bad beat in a cash game.



$0.25/0.50 blinds. I had Qh8h in the big blind and two others called (one in early position and one on the button).



I checked and the flop brought Qs Ks 4s



I put out a little bet of $0.50 to test the water and the guy in early called and the button folded.



The turn brought Qd. I bet $1.50 and again got a call.



River brought 8s. I bet $5.00 and he pushed all in ($23).



Of course I fully expected the nuts flush and hastily called only for him to turn over pocket kings.

Why's that a bad beat?
