Ive had a hard night of it tonight. played 5 tourneys, exited 2 of them to 2 outers and 2 to 3 outers. Walked away before i decimated my bankroll, just not my night.

Beat when I had a full house when there was only 2 combinations of hole cards that would have beat me.



I know it's technically not a bad beat because he was in front all the way but it was still pretty unlucky.

I actually cant play tonight now as I have a live game instead. As does Ash and Jonny who have contributed to this thread and would have also played.

Seeing as its short notice, perhaps try this on another night so theres plenty of time to get people involved.

I can still play tonight but its up to you fellas. Either playing live or off to watch York on Tuesday so would have to be later on in the week for me.

had a email about free links to promotions and he is still setting up the game seems like he wants to push with the links to the bets etc then the poker but as i stated they may be new customers setting a account up if this poker game gets the go ahead i have told him 3rd august monday night 8pm buy ins at £2.20 starting chips 1500 and blinds go up every 6 mins so hopefully he will get back to me with some good news.

Gave it another go last night. I was getting short stacked so went all-in preflop trying to steal some blinds and a few flat calls. I had pocket 4s so everyone folds apart from one player who had pocket 3's. Yep you guessed it, he hit the 3 on the river. This was the same muppet who called my big raise pre-flop, I had Ace Jack suited. Flop comes 6, 10, Ace so with top pair and a big kicker I put another big raise in, he calls again and it comes down a 2. No problem with that card so again I put a big raise in and he calls again and the river is a 6. I am slightly concerned about the pair of sixes on the board but no way could I put him on the 6 after the way the betting has gone so I put another big bet in and he instantly calls. Yep he had the 6, in fact he had 6,7 off suit! How can you play against that kind of muppet?

I've just had the worst tourney of my life.



First up, about 5 mins in, I had JQ off suit in the BB. 3 players called and I checked. The flop was 46J. I bet out half the pot and 2 folded and another called. The turn brought a Q. This time I bet the pot (which was about half my stack), again he called. River brought a K. I just checked and so did he. Turned out he had K4 off suit.



Then I was short stacked and got Ah10s. I limped in against 2 people. Flop was 2c 8h 10h. I went all in, one guy folded and the other called and turned over 4c7c. He then hit clubs on the turn and river.

I just had my biggest mare so far... was dealt pocket k so I raise couple calls couple fold.flop 10,10 2 great I raise again all fold apart from 1 turn 4 hmm big raise he calls again instantly so I start thinkin with no a on the board he is bluffing all in I go all in he calls I thinkin wtf HE WAS DEALT POCKET A WHATS THE FECKIN CHANCE OF THAT (bet he was laughing his head off) CRuel game poker btw I lost about 83 quid on that hand! Stick to play money I think....
