Watching that Ljajic, he plays like Kaka. He seems to be able to drift players with ease, he doesn't look that quick but he is. His control is good as well, he seems to create time on the ball. His end product obviously isn't there, but at 17/18 he looks frightening.

You just know that he will be the next big thing or something though.

He's probably at the right place for him to make that step up. A lot of Eastern European countries have good youth sides, but they never seem to have the best senior sides. Every time I've watched Serbia's youth side they've looked class, but not their national side.



This Ukraine side they're playing look awesome, but I bet in 5 years time, their national side will still be poor.



Watching Ljajic here, he looks like he could become a great player. Not sure if he'll go straight into the first team, but he looks far too good for reserve level.

I really wish I still had some of those old copies. I do still have some of the old cards – the ones that used to come covered in dust from bubble gum. And then there was the [iShoot[/i poster of all the tables with slots in for the team tabs so that you could keep your own tables every season. And one of these days – I swear – I will actually complete a sticker book.

I have so many almost-full ones.



In terms of magazines, though, I'd say that [i90 Minutes[/i was really good. I was very sorry when that went under.

I saw some of this and in the bits I saw I thought Nathan Delfounso the Villa forward looked good,i can see him having a breakout season for the Villa this season.

All i've seen of him is just videos on that videos sharing site and he's looks to have bags of potential but then again i could make a 3 minute video and make myself look good. I'm looking forward to seeing him when he comes over in January along with Diouf who is another who looks devistating in the air from what i've seen online.

I've got quite a lot of those "big-head" figures that used to be available somewhere, I think my little cousins use them as bombs in the garden when they come round.









My great-grandma used to save me the tables from [iThe Mirror[/i and at the end of every season I used to sellotape over the top of them so that they would remain in position, then chuck them in the bin when the next season started.









I only ever completed two, the 97/98 season and the 99/00 season IIRC.
