| So the King has gone. Thankyou for the 4 years LBJ! Cant fault his reasons why!
So we are now in the post LBJ era and you know what, its not as bad as I thought. Mcroberts will be a shrewd signing and we have also signed Deng, but the 2 im most excited about are Bosh and Ennis. I am hoping that Bosh will revel in his new Alpha dog role and I tell you what, the kid Ennis can play some ball! Can we win the championship? Doubtful. Can we win the East? I think its a possibility! I think we need to aim for the 16/17 season as there are some big names off contract.
Regards

| For those who are over 25, LBJ is a Basketball player with some team most people don't know anything about.
Apparently, he's also a nice guy.

| Another overrated Merkan sport, slavishly followed by the 51st staters.

They are certainly building a good team at Cleveland! Do they have the squad depth? id say no for this season but I can see them being champions within 3 years.

It's not just depth; it's making sure they're getting the balance right more than anything. Having LeBron in the team makes it very easy for everybody to just stretch the floor and let him do it all. They don't need that, they have Irving that can contribute 1v1 and Waiters, as well as Love scoring for fun inside. Who for Cleveland could defend Duncan and Splitter? I can't see Irving or Waiters playing much lock down D, can you?
Obviously rapidly building a team worked at Miami, but I think it will take at least a season and a few trades before Cleveland scare anybody in the West.

| By the way, Lake Erie has more depth than the Cavs.
I'll get me coat.

I agree with you there. What do you make of the bookies putting the Cavs as odds on favourites for champions?

| Shawn Marion is an elite defender, they can pick up some perimeter stopper for minimum.

The Champions will come from the Western conference. I actually fancy the Clippers this year. A lot is made of Blake Griffin's progression over the past season, I actually believe he'll become the best inside scoring player in the league this year, whilst I believe his perimeter game will develop far more than people expect. I'm expecting Griffin to hit Karl Malone-levels of offence but with better handles and perimeter play. Seriously, I think Griffin will cement himself as the best player outside of LeBron and Durant. So, with that in mind, I can see the Clippers getting over the Spurs and Thunder this year. Cleveland should top the Eastern conference, but come the playoffs LeBron will be expected to carry them due to the inexperience of Love and Irving in the postseason.

| So the post Lebron era starts with a convincing win. Cb1 rolled back the years as the alpha male and what a dunk from Ennis! Been saying for a while that this kid can ball and what a game from Norris Cole!
