Sorry Jim ....But why put a damper on one seriously good afternoon .....
Yep the Ref was somewhat pedantic on occasions ..to the detriment of both teams ..not just in our favour.(.But ..James H's disallowed try ...what was that all about  ??)
BUT we took our chances against what is an established Championship side that has changed little in its formation, after high flying in the table and subsequent play offs....
No one is disagreeing it was a fight to the final hooter ...but lucky ?? mon derriere ... we took our chances they didnt ...no luck involved
After last weeks 'less than fired ' display against the Panthers today was one we should be congratulating the lads (who do look on here) for not deriding their efforts as 'lucky' |

Quite simple, if it had been colder i would have been freezing 
Now all joking aside it was a good performance. And it looked like we could get a lot better.
One thing we have to do, is cut down the amount of penalties we give away. |

Really enjoyed today's game - a thriller down to the end.
The players and coaching staff deserve a big pat on the back. We have a lot of improvement in us (cutting out unforced errors and penalties), and have a couple of players still to come into the squad.
It's going to be a very tough ask to stay in this division but at least today has given a ray of hope.

| Over the 80mins where were the Cougars lucky? Thought that the win was well deserved and should have been by more when you consider disallowed try and a couple of opportunities to take the 2 which were spurned.
The lads should take alot from this game and believe that whatever happens they are good enough to really make a mark in the division. |

the try was dissallowed as the referee inpeeded the play. according to the rules, if this happens then the team with the ball get a scrum. which is what happened.
quite unfortunate but never mind we still got the win!

Watch the video and the block the referee put on theor full back was not impacting on the play, it was about 5 yards away.

Suppose the disallowed try was cancelled out by the one Keighley scored over the dead ball line!!
Best of luck for the season to a traditional rugby club, unlike the Welsh pretenders in Super League who are bleeding the game dry.
