Just been looking at Sky and it says that Fev are wanting a place in Superleague next year if London fold and it would be farcical if not offered one. What about the other clubs wanting in. Surely now we are going back to promotion/relegation then it should be earned on the field and if one team earns it then only one team relegated next year with process brought forward one season.

Halifax and Sheffield may not want SL rugby on such short notice.

If London remove themselves from SL next season, the league should run on 13 teams, with their allocation of central funds redistributed to the community game - it's about time we got a bit of help. Fev, like every other team, will have an opportunity to achieve SL on merit in 2015.

wouldn't surprise if they do get promoted to replace London and receive a years grace to get up to speed, in fact they ought to do that to any club being promoted to aid the change.

The RFL don't seem to like 2 wakefield district teams in SL so they wouldn't go for 3

Fev did not apply for a SL licence for this 3 year period, so unless Fax agree to waive their case I would think that would be open to challenge? It would be better if London see the three years out imo

Good call, the RFL would be wide open to a challenge from Fax if they gave Fev the green light.

However, it may be that Fax have said that they wouldn't be ready for next season ??

The rfl need to be asking London if they intend to drop out this year and if so need to be saying to championship their spot is up for grabs but has to be won on the field.

I hope we don't fall down this avenue.......

Like who? Money talks in this game. We now have three multi millionaires on the board, plus Rovers have a much better infrastructure than any of their CC rivals and the new ground developments, including a £250K state of the art centre of excellence, are on course for completion before the end of the year. The RFL is mightily impressed with what's going on at the club. See you soon.
