No-one else think we should have forced Brough to see out his contract....

The club may have won more games, but the attendances, as last year showed, would've remained at a similar level.

Oh and I do think the club should've held on to Brough, as I did before he was sold.

So are you claiming that we hadn't won a game all year we would have the same crowd, or had won everygame we are destined to average 6000 forever?

And I think it was idiocy selling our best player a month into the season.

Lets play out the last 2 games with desire and a great passion to win and hopefully end the season on a mini high.

There or thereabouts. Don't think there has been a dramatic rise or fall in our average attendance, while in SL, whether we've been fighting relegation or in the top 6/8.



As to the original question of course we should have held onto Brough just like we should have held onto Ellis but as ever we were short sighted and grabbed at a, in my eyes, poor deal.

Whether we got 50k or 80k for Brough,we must have lost more than that this season in lost attendance.We would have won more games especially some of the close ones,which would have kept the attendance higher,even if its 300-500 people a game ,that adds up by the end of the year.Just the overall atmosphere around the club would be more positive and if we get the news we all hope in September we might have kept him too.

5 months on and were still garbage, never mind give jk a new contract

The season ticket sales for next year will be another reflection. I know quite a few who will not be renewing and some of these are long time supporters of 20+ years.

Obviously not enough or they would have paid the compensation and not left us with a coach who had clearly wanted to leave and the mess we have had since with poor performances
