Great news, i've been very impressed with the lad so far. He should provide ample cover on the wing/fullback with Peterson, George & Murphy out. As well as put pressure on the others to perform if given the chance and has the ideal opportunity to put himself in the shop window with his contract up at the end of the season.

Whilst disagreeing with the way he has put his opinion across, I think I would rather have Halley in the side as apposed to Peterson who has, as of yet, flattered to deceive and appears a little injury prone.
As he only signed an 18 month (I think?) contract this may be his last season with Trinity and I don’t think the club have had value for money out of him. This may change when he gets macth fit again, but we'll have to wait and see. |
