Deffo worth another year

Im not convinced, started like a house on fire with wide running, good pass selections.



Has mid- late season been average in my opinion ( he not only one btw). His best game has been in his international match. Admittedly surrounded by quality but I hoped to see more.



If he were to stay and contract would reflect that he's not had best of years then I can be reasonably happy, he is a committed and commendable gent and charachter.



But with lauititi, southern, Wilkes coming in all with exp do we need him as much and is there a better option out there mid-late 20s that can fill his contract? Someone like Tony Martin, off quota, and fill a centre spot as an improvement on Dean. I would say martin would be on less than Morrisson.



That is something for the club and new coach to decide and I believe they have the club gunning for success on all departments.

One of the few players that when steps onto the field gives 110%, been a little unlucky with his had injury recently, we looked better with him on field last weekend, the effort was back

I think Hedo is already signed up, and you will also not get me knock the lad, another that gives it all for the shirt, just dont think he is in the same mold as Morrison, Not a leader, more a soilder.



Also if he is out of contract this means we can talk about wages, if he really wants to stay at Wakefield and play for the shirt, make the money fit.



My point is he has another year left in him and we know what we will get, put him around a little more quality and he can step up another lever, just has he did in the Xiles game.

You are comparing hendo and Morrison not me. I merely made reference that as hendo is a 100% player too, that for me is not enough to give a player a new contract.



I never bag hendo or morro in the determination dept.



I have seen morro many times and I stick by my opinion that he has been good 1st half but 2nd half destinctly average.



Re; point that that with more quality players around him he can be more affective, I agree. But the contract needs to be discussed.

Morro seems to be going through the motions now and Hendo would be a better bet but a revitalised side with a decent coach and GM could go all Menzies on our asses.

What's Menzies done to your ass? I'd sign Morrison for another year and would hope we can offer him a pathway in to coaching too
