| well it must be the furthest to travel for a Wakefield Cup final for the lad but Upton it is
luckily they hosts of the venue are our opponents but I don't expect them to produce a shock win, as a fan of the game I hate to see the one sided games as it could damage the confidence of the few quality players that are in the losing side
Upton v Stanley Rangers u14s KO 10-30

Westgate looked the complete side and from seeing them against the Stanley U15s side
today the Wildcat side worked hard but was well contained

I was at the u16s final and was amazed to see a Stanley try converted by a squad member who wasn't even playing! That is just plain disrespectful to the opposition and the officials. That said, you would hope that the officials would have picked upon this. Stanley u16s are a quality team and don't need to be pulling silly stunts like this.

Calm down, the player was Connor Ballinger, who has been with Stanley for years, and that game was going to be the last time they all play together. The kid had a bad injury and was gutted not to be playing, and the coaching staff decided to let the player take a conversion. This however is not disrespectful, its just letting a player take part in the game, and to be fair the score should have been 80 let alone 50, so those two points made naff all difference.
The Normy coaching staff and one Woman with a voice that was on par with the volume normally associated with a Motorhead gig noticed. The calls to have Stanley stripped of the Cup did however make me laugh, and the rfesponse of you can stick it up your =#FF0000viewtopic.php?f=33&t=421878&tsmp=1336419170 was the perfect response.
The Stanley team have been a pleasure to watch, and what a top bunch of lads they are too, good luck to them all, especially the ones who go onto better things in rugby league than the wakefield amateur scene.

I am perfectly calm, thanks. It's a shame Connor was injured but if he's not playing, he shouldn't be taking part in the game: end of story. Life can be tough, get over it. We have!
It is disrepectful, just like the attitude in your post.
I know the two points made no difference. I'm not suggesting they did and I don't want any change to the result.
80 points? The score "should have been" what it is. When do you get points for wasting chances?
Yes, good luck to those "super fit" Stanley players and their parents living the dream with them but if you have so much disdain for the Wakefield amateur scene, why have some of you come into it from outside the area?

| I don't really want to get involved but if this Lads taken a kick and did not play it is out of order, injury/leaving the club/scoreline makes no difference, it should not have happened and it smacks of disrespect.
Anyway fire away.

The only disrespectful thing I observed was the cheering from some of the parents from Normanton when the Stanley Hooker got sparked out ! Call me oldfashioned, but that is worse than a player missed off the team sheet having a go at a conversion.
I also have no idea why players or parents choose a team, I dont have a kid playing in that side, but I can only assume that they chose that team to get the best chance of improvement, and with 18 players on scholarships its would look like it worked. They have some of the best players in the country, and I know Howden and Burman did not get into the England side, but if you can show me two better players at their respective positions than those two, and =#FF0000viewtopic.php?f=33&t=421878&tsmp=1336505519The subject of Wakefield and its local RL scene, OK I will take it back, they are good, and to be fair are better than most, but ARL is in general a total bag of crap off the field, with mis management, and a string of tin pot dictators running clubs and leagues, who in the real World would be as much use as the substance that fell out of the back of my Patterdale this morning
=#FF0000Would it be too much trouble to stay on the right side of whats decent on a foum and not avoid the swear filter.
El Rey.
