All the 'things' that TRB has listed will be included in the reserved matters application, of course the 100 + people at Belle Vue on Tuesday saw the detailed plans first hand both for the stadium and the College Centre/Community Sport Facilities. The Wakefield College involvement is very similar to the deal that the Rhinos/YCC have with Leeds Met Carnegie for the two Carnegie stands at Headingley with the full list of facilities being shared among Trinity, Wakefield College, The Community Trust and therefore the public of Wakefield. The interesting thing is that the only doubts centre around gaining planning permission, not the building of the facilities, if it gets planning it will get built pretty much (possibly some minor changes) as TRB has listed.

It IS the biggest day in the clubs history.......it is Plan A....Newmarket! We need this stadium.

I'm not feeling very optimistic about this project. Just seems there have been too many setbacks and too many hurdles placed in our way. I don't believe the council will back us on this. They led us on a merry dance re TP and I think they are doing the same here. Why did they favour Newmarket all along as a site and then suddenly turn round in the meeting and say we are only backing one stadium and that will be glasshoughton and we want you to share? If I can make it I'll be there next Friday but I believe there will be a lot of disappointed people and this day could be the beginning of the end of our once proud club.

that's why there is a plan B to put us on,



Newmarket area will be developed come what may in some form, the council would be foolish to allow this to go to waste there more than just a rugby clubs future at stake here, this development will make us the envy of other clubs

The Council did say they were only backing one community stadium and that was at Newmarket

Trust me if I can make it I'll be there, work commitments will decide whether or not I can make it. I'll never stop supporting the club I just have a horrible feeling that we are coming close to our sell by date. Fwiw I honestly do believe the council would be crazy to turn this venture down but hey this council really are crazy!

Catwoman don't believe everything you are told. Politics is a funny game. Were doing this alone. The likes of trb etc deserve medals. If this comes off they can proudly say they were involved in the saving of our club
