I don't think its sailed, more so its still in the docks waiting for the cogs to be put in place before it can move on. We were warned it could take tim, frustratingly this has proved to be the case. The immediacy of the stadium isn't quite as imperative as it was a few years back so I guess other than to improve facilities its on the back burner whilst everything is sorted out.

There is a section 106 agreement in place which binds Yorkcourt to the stadium - as a result of the years of planning permission, public inquiry and local development framework. The ship has not sailed, but a large but a large ship does take some starting!

If wasn't for coming on here I would of totally forgotten about the plans for the new stadium, you can understand the frustrations of the supporters so sooner it's back in the public eye again the better

From start to finish Trinity Walk took over 10 years to come true - they were planning this when Ted announced the sponsorship deal with Sainsburies back in 1998/9. We haven't come close to that yet!

Well they won't. It's not up to you to get us a stadium but as a supporter of the club you could at least support those who are trying. Defeatist comments like yours really do demoralise people trust me I know, so please just think before you post next time - that's not to say you shouldn't question, do that by all means.

Think this article shows the importance of making sure the new stadium deal is done properly and to our benefit and is not just rushed through at the earliest opportunity. Otherwise it could end up not just becoming a white elephant but the thing that rather than leads to a great future, could sink us as a top flight club once and for all. It has to be able to pay it's way both in the building stage and afterwards for us to be succesful as a club as its failure could have a catastrophic affect on us. So if it takes extra time so be it.
