It doesn't. Sky have set no such requirements - it's an urban myth - but perhaps one allowed to perpetuate by certain people as it suits their requirements!

Sky get great value for the money they put in, at least in comparison with the Aviva Premiership. If the RFL was to get rid of Crusaders or Quins I don't really think Sky would be that bothered. Like you say, It's suites a certain agenda to peddle that myth! |

would imagine skys agenda is easy to work out, they need evening live sport in the summer months when footy isnt on, keeps people from cancelling subscitions etc. simple. |
