It's hard to defend Hall who after a great start went down hill at a rate of knots - just like the team. On occasions it was hard not to despise what appeared to be utter incompetence mixed with a couldn't care less attitude. However finding out that he needs three close season operation including two hernias it does offer some mitigation.



So either he lied about his physical state as I doubt these issues were not there when he signed - or - we have the shoddiest medical checks around. Bit of both I suspect. Probably another lesson MC has had to learn the hard way.



If he gets fit and gets the right attitude he could be useful backup.
