Name the minor counties cricket champions who've then been promoted to the county championship, or even the counties which have been relegated to the minor counties championship after finishing bottom of the county championship.

Just one small point about your comment.



The major difference is you are comparing promotion and relegation from one competition to another, not from second tier to the top flight. Also comparing a sport that with the exception of the two division restructure and the inclusion of Durham in 1992 (increasing the competition to 18 teams) prior to that it was Glamorgan in 1921, it has been run under the same rules for decades.



So hardly the ideal comparison is it?????



One last point the EWCB (formerly ECB) have never operated a promotion and relegation system to and from the County Championship.
