If we go on another good cup run and get play offs, those with no tops or last seasons top will want the new top to wear to the big games. The same happend last season.

What if the minimum order is, say 500









As an outsider looking in, that cant be the case since Chris says you bought so many in on the basis of last years sales, so if that was the case you wouldnt have sold out since you've obviously budgeted for a certain figure

I would find it hard to believe that you would have to place an order of at least 500.

Well a fair few of new grounds mates have missed out and I am sure a fair few others will have.



The fans that bought them to the back end of last season may be waiting to see how well we do to buy a top, like they did last season. So they get use out of the top they paid for last year.

So why did people not buy them last season?



There is proof that people were buying them when we went on the good cup run, A fair few people I stand with at the ground went an bought the tops to wear just for the semi.



I don't know why it takes a good run in cup to buy a top, but thats what happend.

if we don't do very well they wont buy , this is why the club wont stock .



if anything we should be overjoyed that the success of last year as put the club in this position .

also mediums are available but just not at the club , i would guess its more a tool to criticize the club than any thin else. if he wants a top that bad he would go to the mill and get one . even online you can buy one so whats the problem.

NGFC can get a top , the club has no financial risk and sports direct or the mill or the on line ebay store gets another happy customer .

if they were that hard to find i would have mine for sale at 100quid

So if we get top 8 this year, which I am certain we will and people go to the club shop wanting to buy a top and don't have them, it's still the same problem.



The point is it is poor of the club not having any medium shirts in stock, but there is jack all we can do about it.



He may not know about this mill place, first I have heard of it.

further more on this topic it as taken years for WTWC to get the tops into the high street , this is good for the club on so many different levels but they will stop if the source of selling is stripped away from them . If they all sell out then they will all order more next year and perhaps start stocking other WTWC membrabelia you do realize that we get a cut or benefit in other ways.

, were they too pricey? Maybe some of your fans just buy one every 2nd year









Right lets say you sold 1000 before your cup run then sold another 1000 during your cup run, so thats 2000, i'll educate a guess that your club ordered between 10 and 25% on top of that this year to accommodate for any new interest due to your cup run.



So you order 2500 this time, you sell them out, what else do you expect your marketing department to do? Pick a number out of thin air and guess how much demand you would have had this year bearing in mind they probably had to order them months ago to get them in time for Xmas.



Do you



a) Order 2500 and maximise your profit



b) Order 3000 and probably have 2/300 left to flog off for a tenner at the end of the season making it a loss leader?
