He's actually surprised most of us......i couldn't believe it when we signed him, the fact that you and Crusaders had both released him kind of makes you think he cant be that good, no disrespect meant to theose 2 clubs.

but without being a 'revelation' he's been very good for us in the games he's played - very strong, good workrate, good footwork and was pivotal in our win at Wigan.

Saying that there is a chance he will fade.....but so far he's been a welcome addition to our squad.

I agree Daz- was perplexed when we signed him but is doing well. I know the coaching staff are pleased with his attitude and commitment re training and conditioning- think that's what is getting him game time

I can't see Tommy Lee running us ragged, Danny Brough on the the other hand is more than capable of running us ragged and kicking us to death.

If we can stop DB playing his usual game it will go a long way to us winning.

Do you not think it was a very strange passage of play though where everything they did came off? We haven't looked particularly vulnerable there prior have we? can't think of any incidents. i think they got lucky and we had an off day rather than it being a real ongoing concern but come 5.05pm I might be changing my tune

I think they'd probably spotted Mellars out of position in the first half and at half-time, told Jeffries to hit that spot every time they got near our line; Ben Cockayne is enthusiastic, but he isn't going to outjump anyone.
