Crusaders went bust and have reformed with the help of a £700K loan from the RFL just shows how bent Superleague is. They will choose who they want in and who they want out. The thing that really gets to me is that they continue with all the charade of franchise applications when it is all cut and dry.
Yes and I agree Wood is an overpaid big fat lump

yes i read it this morning too. basically he goes on to say that anyone having a vested interest( ie the £700 k that the rfl have invested in crusaders), cannot really claim to be impartial can they.
so who would this panel consist of?

Yes I'm sure he is!
If you remember he went on Bootsnall last March and stated that a Championship team would be elevated to Super League even before they had changed the criteria and had all the problems with Crusaders- seems to me he had made the decision nearly 12 months ago.

The decision to elevate a Championship club was for the benifit of the Championship clubs , not for the benifit of SL
I would assume if Wakefield do get de-elevated you will be hoping they promise to elevate a Championship club in 2015 also ? |

This is how it all works.
All SL voting needs a majority so at the moment 8 clubs.
Quins, Les Cats and Cru ALWAYS tow the party line 3
Gaz at Leeds and their lass at Hull do likewise 2
Therefore It only takes wigan,wire and saints 3
Hey presto ! you can pass anything you want
Clubs like ours are only along for the ride and while ever there is franchising
the 4 or 5 clubs that actually run our game can basically do whatever they want. |

If it was to benefit the Clubs then surely the best team in the competition would be elevated ie, the best team results wise not any Tom, Dick or Harry that may have a " ground " , sugar daddy or be in a development area.  |
