I think we have had it.

i bloody hope you're wrong, i just can't see that they are capable of making a decision until they're pushed, because they've made their own decision so difficult by constantly changing tac.

My head says they cant kick us out, my heart however.......................

I think they effectively decide when they make the criteria.



Instead of setting the criteria at the ideal eg 30k plus crowds, all seater new stadiums, profit of £x million etc and kicking out the worst they set it based upon what we have now and you can see by what they have chosen to judge on that they have effectively decided who is going.



May not be down to one team but a group of 2-3 I think they already know.

Regretfully I think the decision has been made already. I believe this to be the case for the following reasons :



(1) other clubs supposedly under threat signing players on long term deals (Crusaders) and players of ours signing elswhere.



(2) The fact Halifax are still in the running (another move the goal posts by the RFL)



(3) The uncertainty over the Stadium situation (I know Savilles have reviewed it but until the end of the PI it is impossible to say whether NM will come off and then there is the marketing of Belle Vue by property agents)



I still think we should be in before Crusaders, Harlequins and Halifax at least, but think we are out. If we already know I wish they would cut the pretence and announce it now - and show the RFL up for what a sham the process is.



If we retain our SL franchise I will gladly donate 100 quid to squadbuilder

Think we are in along with Castleford. My guess is that we will have a 15 team competition as insurance in the event that Crusaders or Harlequins go pop.

Hope your right and would glady stump up the 100 quid to squadbuilder for being proved wrong. Maybe I am reading too much into the change in atmosphere recently and the fact that Halifax have been allowed to remain in the running.

I don't think the decision has been made yet but when it is I think we will miss out.

No more SL for us, IMO, I just get the feeling that it's a done deal despite the best efforts of many parties in and around the club.

Defo gone as I said on a thread earlier,too many positive things happening at other clubs and very quiet at ours.

I believe once the work started on Salford's stadium it was always going to be one of Trinity or Cas. With the recent administration Trinity have made it easy for the RFL to choose between two very similar clubs. Not taking anything away from the excellent work the club have done in trying to make a game of it since the takeover, but I just feel the damage had already been done and perhaps would only have been undone had an extremely rich man had taken over and gotten the attention of Red Hall.
