His career would have been so much better if someone had taught him how to offload.

He had/has plenty of flaws to his game but then I guess that is why he played for us for so long. I never really got the Korki thing the run at Hull was quality and he chinned that Fev player but other than that I can't remember singing his praises to often. He was/is a steady enough player but if we are to move on then we need better. Cheers for the effort though.

Dowes is a better all round prop than Korkidas, different style yes but has a more consistant game. You don't play the majority of games for a team that makes the top eight and not be a good player.

He's better than the one we've signed and so is his attitude imho.

Good luck to the lad - a grafter who's always put the effort in, even if the effort didn't necessaily yield the desired result.



Bit of a weird one though in terms of his contract, as he's actually a Shudds player, so we haven't released him in the traditional sense; his loan period has expired and his home club have chosen not to re-sign him.



Sure he'll do well at Keighley - some of these part time lads are going to have their commitment tested next season, when they find themselves standing in front of a rampaging Nick Fozzard or Michael Korkidas.

I've listed to a few radio interviews with the guy, and have heard things about him from people who know him, and he comes across as a decent bloke to me.

In the early part of last year i think without Korki & Morro, we wouldnt have got close to winning a game. You looked at the 2 sides when warming up and without them our pack could have come straight out of the academy in terms of physicality. If you speak to PJ, Frankie, Howarth, Amor etc they will all have nothing but good things to say about Korki. No, i dont think he should have been given a new contract and during his time with us he has been up and down with regards to level of performance, but i dont think he could ever be accused of lacking in effort.



I just dont get some folk?? Anyone who has pulled on the shirt, especially last year (barring Hickey) and put his body on the line partly for my entertainment deserves a thanks. It doesnt mean i hero worship them, it doesnt in all cases mean that i rate them as a player but it does mean i appreciate there efforts.

All this criticism could be premature - it's Monday morning, what's to say the club won't release something this week about Korki's departure?



Sometimes, the rumour mill overtakes the official news - with 3 clubs, an agent and a player involved, I guess it's not as straightforward as it seems; when they've sorted all that out, I'm sure there'll be some acknowledgement of his contribution.
