He's got the lot. The letter thanking him for the contribution, a letter from big Dian apologizing for not believing he was a LM the last time they tried to take it off him and all the ST's from the last god knows how many years with LM written in them.

In that case I would have thought that if it had been shown to the club within the deadline they published they will have decided what they can reasonably do. If he's not taken it in before the date the club asked for it then that isn't the club's fault.

Think in the case of Barry Hough he could show them the dressing rooms and point to the big picture of Wally Lewis in the Ridings shop!

Was that part of the deal for life membership? If so we'd have only needed about 20 life members to build us a new stadium and a top quality team.

I have more truck for those who were given LM as a mark of thanks for their efforts rather than those who paid for them. However I do wonder given the split on here whether it would have been prudent to leave be for the sake of what we're talking about. Not my shout though!

But it did mean life in my case - the life of Wakefield Trinity RLFC Ltd. I got a Season Ticket until the Club died. If it had not gone bust I still would have my LM - I know which I prefer.



I like many others invested a great deal more in shares than LM and they have gone which everyone seems to accept.



As TRB says if you got LM by paying an amount of cash whatever it was you probably have had your moneys worth and as you paid it to WTRLFCLtd then Spirit of 1873 Ltd has no obligations whatsoever.

Not mine either, but if it were, for the sake of a few quid, I'd have probably got the old codgers in question to come to the first home friendly and handed them free Gold memberships for the 2012 season on the pitch at half time. Get the WE down and try to do a bit of a feature about the history of WTW, what it means to the old lads, the good times they witnessed etc etc - add a bit of weight to the NM situation. The ideal person to hand their tickets over would of course be Mr Fox, with perhaps a couple of other players from different eras.
