| Quote bren2k="bren2k"As you know, that doesn't constitute his terms and conditions of employment, nor is it an indication of the details of the deal done between WTW and Leeds.
Seriously, it's great to support your club and all, but don't kid yourself that Mr Hetherington can sidestep employment law and brush aside a players wishes to make him an indentured servant; the deal looks ok for all parties right now - that's all we know.'"
No it doesn't but it would seem to indicate that Wakefield's understanding of the deal is that he can be 'recalled' by Leeds. I don't for one minute believe that Hetherington can sidestep the law, but I do know from past experience that he's a pretty shrewd and hard-baked cookie when it comes to contract negotiations.
Iestyn Harris will probably testify to this...the circumstances may have been different but the player's wishes didn't seem to count for much there.
Maybe I'm reading too much 'between the lines' but when clubs talk about 'recall' I think it's a pretty fair bet that the right to recall is somewhere in the contract.

| Quote Chief Stinkwort="Chief Stinkwort"Why so confident? Leeds have the option to take Kyle back next year or the year after. Look at the age of our forwards and you'll see that despite having signed Griffin and Moore, we'll be looking for pack replacements in the very near future.
Do you honestly think that a relatively young and rapidly improving player like Amor would want to stay at a club with little chance of title success in the near future, if given the choice to go back to a team that's won 5 GF's in the last 8 years?'"
It must be wonderful living in an ivory tower looking down on us 'inferior' clubs!

Firstly, Iestyn Harris was not compromised by his "Exit" contract, it was his future employers
Secondly, there is no way on this earth that a "Restrictive Covenant" like Harris's could ever be implemented again and would be classed as illegal under "Current" European employment laws (that even the RFL have to adhere to)
Personally though I hope Kyle remains a Wakefield player as long as possible and the longer he stays the more fond of the club he will become, when we played Bradford at the end of last season and we were invited on to the pitch I spoke to Kyle and asked him if he would be coming back to Wakey next season or going back to Leeds, his reply was "I really hope I can stay here as it's been great and the fans and club have given me the chance to prove myself" so if it's down to player choice I know where I'd be putting my money

I think it will depend on how much each club offers, hopefully Leeds having a few more "superstars" in their side may preclude them from offering too much to a young prop.

| Quote Daddycool="Daddycool"Leeds have option to offer kyle a new contract for 2013 onwards. Obviously it will have to be a better contract then Wakefield have offered and even then it's still up o Kyle what he wants to do[/quote
Not sure if that is the case. Quote from the man himself taken from the Wakey Express website last week....
“I signed that contract to say I am for the next 3 years, there’s just that clause where Leeds can pull me back any time from July I believe. I signed a deal with Wakefield that I am their player for three years and surely anyone watching me playing understands that I give 100 per cent every time so that’s all I’m focused on.
“If I keep doing that every week the rest is out of my hands, if they pull me back it’s out of my hands.”

I don't look down on any rl club in any league mate, but I do live in the real world. How many players have left Leeds for Wakey in their prime compared to those that have gone the other way?
It must be horrible having such a massive chip on your shoulder.

Why. I suspect he would but certainly not without a great deal of thought and heart searching first.

When I first started to read your post I thought you were going to ask Vasty if he would consider putting on the number 8 shirt on due to his vast size
