I'm all for this. Let us be the underdogs, the has-beens, the also-rans. It suits us down to the ground.



All I ask next season is to be entertained. Let's face it, we have been in rugby league purgatory for the last 18months. We nearly went under 9 months ago, and for the last 27 games we have watched a below average team play rock bottom rugby. I don't expect us to turn into world beaters overnight. The signings we have made may not be the greatest on the planet but compared to what we had, they will improve us exponentially. For those who've not been in our situation and are looking in, they may not understand our excitement. But here in the real world, we know what we have been through, we remember what we have seen, and we are happy to acknowledge that this time last year, there wasn't a peep coming out of Belle Vue. A lot has changed in a year.



I don't think any genuine fan can be against the notion of working within our means, repairing our reputation, keeping the promises we have made and continuing to move forward. This season may see us finish 12th, it may see us finish higher, but wherever we finish we will be in a damn stronger position than we have been in for as far back as I can remember.
