With the signing of Moa and the completion of the Tongan Triangle are us Black and Whites feeling confident ?

Agar has assembled "his" team for 2010 . Quality and leadership has been brought in that can not be denied .

Are we now willing to wipe the slate clean and draw a line under 2008 /2009?

Will the Black and White Nation rise and repel our upstart "neighbours"?

Do we feel nevous or confident for next season?

Suppose you've got to wipe the slate clean, there's no doubt dwelling in the past, on saying that, Agar has a long way to go to get the fans on his side but you cannot argue with his attempt to improve the squad. We will see if he now has what it takes, no more excuses!

Not feeling confident, but looking forward to lots of aspects of the new season, specifically:

Fitzgibbon (please make him captain)

A big pack with some biff

A genuine 7 and full on character in Long

Seeing how our young prospects develop (Tom Briscoe, Tansey, Hall, Burnett, Turner)

Seeing Lyne and Jack Briscoe make their debuts



We've assembled a good squad now, but the big undone is the coaching side of things. Hopefully Long's refusal to accept a lack of gameplan (came across in the excerpt from his book) will force us to address this properly.



The ultimate would be to see Long win the Lance Todd for the 4th time. Won't happen, but would be something special.

For the first time in recent memory I am confident and optimistic. We have finally worked out what a quality squad actually is and how one is assembled.



We have a forward pack to be proud of, a genuine scrum half, leadership and aggression and some genuine pace in the backs.



A world class SO and /or a little SH cover wouldn't go a miss but the only real concern for me is whether the coach is up to it ?? I really hope that he is !!!

Squad on paper looks good but have said that for many a year, will hopefully see a bashful forward line who will actually dominate teams and give our HB's the space to operate can't say we lack the size now.

Would love to see washy given the LF spot and radders no where near that shirt so we have plenty of attacking options with tansey joining the attacking line think we will have plenty of options so i'm hoping for some good attacking play next year.

Injurys in the halfs is my only concern at the minute, seems like we will have to shuffle the squad round to much to get over the injuries in the halfs which will unsettle us a problem that was evident last year.

If we can't perform next year then there is only one person who can be held responsible for it and he will have to go and imo he knows that.

I'm very happy with the squad on paper. Fitzgibbon and Long give us things we have been sorely lacking for years and we have a number of exciting youngsters to go with the experienced NRL players.



My concerns are Agar's general coaching skills and whether the key men can stay fit.
